Established over 30 years ago Broadway Brass is a market leader in quality metal finishing

Founded in 1988, Broadway Brass started out as a small humble metal polishing shop, mainly polishing door furniture and hardware. Since then, we have steadily grown into a world-renowned metal finishing specialist, constantly aiming to become better than before, and, with the backing of 30 years of experience, we do not plan to stop any time soon.

We are proud to be in a position where we can now employ over 30 highly skilled staff, who all have a can-do and passionate attitude towards providing a consistently unbeatable service to all of our customers. Although we provide for many household names and reputable designers, we are equally as proud of the work we provide to our smaller customers, that require high quality metal finishing for their valued products, as our sole aim is to always provide an incomparable service with a high-quality metal finish in order to bring out the best in any product.

A Timeline Of Our Journey

1988 1988 A small polishing shop set up in Hockley, Birmingham, mainly polishing door furniture and hardware
1990 1990 polishing shop was extended with extra polishing lathes installed
1994 1994 we relocated to Digbeth, Birmingham into a larger premises, it is here Broadway brass installed their first electroplating plant and started electroplating, we also shifted our metal polishing facility to the new premises and introduced a spray lacquering facility
2004 2004 relocated into our existing 13000 sqft purpose-designed premises in Balsall Heath, Birmingham, a much larger space giving us the freedom to expand and optimise our service
2005 2005 we introduced an electrophoretic lacquer plant whilst also increasing the tank capacity of our electroplating tanks, allowing us to take on more intricate and larger-sized projects whilst also increasing our capacity and range of finishes
2010 2010 we purchased an adjacent 4500 sqft unit to further increase capacity and also install a custom-built high-temperature conveyor oven
2015 2015 To improve quality and production efficiencies, all departments were moved and streamlined. New systems were added and equipment was purchased to load and unload efficiently. Overall improving the organisation as well as the efficiency
2018 2018 an additional purpose-designed metal polishing unit was built for polishing larger parts and frames optimally, and with a new flexi arm and flatbed machine added it allowed us to increase our quality of service for the bigger and more detailed jobs
2020 2020 we purchased a 2nd adjacent 3600 sqft unit to add more space for our quality inspection and packaging area, additional office space to optimise our customer experience and service, as well as job drying and walk-in oven for the larger fabrications

Here at Broadway Brass we pride ourselves in the expertise of our employees in being able to create almost every type of finish to meet our customer's individual preferences. With over 30 years in the industry, we have continually sought to adopt new methods and techniques in order to be able to satisfy the demands of today's dynamic marketplace.

In order to fulfill our commitment to the marketplace we do not neglect our duty to the environment. Waste produced in the process of electroplating is appropriately taken care and disposed of, Broadway Brass operates its own water discharge facility in compliance with the local authority regulations and water authority consent to discharge.
